The TeltoHeart wristband is designed to help people with heart rhythm problems. It can automatically detect not only atrial fibrillation, but also other arrhythmias, such as when the pulse suddenly drops or rises more than normal. If the wristband detects an arrhythmia or if the patient feels unwell and their pulse slows down or increases more than normal, the wearer is recommended to take a 6-lead electrocardiogram which can be transferred to the TeltoCare telemedicine platform for physician analysis.
TeltoHeart is one of the newest and most advanced telemedicine products developed to meet the rapidly growing demand for certified wearable medical devices. Notably, the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) has published an official recommendation for patients who experience symptoms of cardiac arrhythmias less than once a week to use certified wearable devices that can perform at least single-lead ECGs and/or detect arrhythmias using PPG technology instead of Holter monitoring.
Advanced Arrhythmia Detection
TeltoHeart features a patented, high-specificity algorithm for real-time heart rhythm monitoring.
It can automatically detect:

- Bradycardia
- Tachycardia
- Other arrhythmias
The wristband is designed for continuous wear.
If an arrhythmia is detected—or if the patient feels unwell—the device prompts the user to record a 6-lead ECG.
Continuous Monitoring with PPG Technology
The device includes an integrated photoplethysmography (PPG) system, which monitors blood circulation in real time.
Continuous heart rate monitoring, especially during rest, is essential for accurate detection of atrial fibrillation, as movement can affect readings.
Since dangerous heart palpitations often occur at night or early in the morning and may go unnoticed, TeltoHeart effetively detects irregularities, notifies the patient immediately and prompts a 6-lead ECG recording when needed
Telemedicine Integration
The TeltoHeart wristband is powered by a medically certified MyHealth App firmware, enabling seamless recording
and transfer of heart health data.
Healthcare professionals can easily access and analyse this data, supporting efficient remote diagnosis and care.
